John Dunford is the Director of Engagement and Knowledge at The Churchill Fellowship. Formerly CEO at The Developer Society, a not for profit co-op digital agency exclusively working with charities, NGOs and activists. John previously worked at the Syria Campaign, Oxfam International and Greenpeace in the areas of campaigns, digital engagement, online fundraising and technical development. John is also a trustee with Freedom From Torture.

John holds an MSc with distinction in Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford and has recently completed an MPhil in Innovation, Strategy and Organisation as a Gates Scholar at the Cambridge Judge Business School where his research focused on the use of emerging technologies in humanitarian contexts.

Linda has a background in education but has spent most of her working career in international development and humanitarian work. She is the Head of Client Services at Refugee Resource. Her previous roles include interim CEO of Kids Club Kampala, where she oversaw the strategic director and overall management of the organisation, and Executive Director for SOS Sahel UK, where she successfully led the closure of the UK charity as its African partners were thriving without the support of the UK office, which is something to celebrate. Before joining SOS Sahel, Linda worked for a short while with Oxfam GB in the Humanitarian Department.

Linda started working for Concern Worldwide as a volunteer in Mozambique in 1996.  She then became a staff member in 1999 and continued to work for Concern in Rwanda, Eritrea and Sierra Leone in different management and implementation roles and as Country Director in Nepal and Ethiopia, with two years working in the policy unit in Concern Worldwide in Dublin as Education Adviser.

She holds an MA in Development and Emergency Practice from Brookes University, Oxford.

Victoria trained with Arthur Young & Co and started her career in the commercial sector but has spent most of her working life in the not-for-profit sector. She has many years’ leadership experience from a number of organisations.

Victoria’s experience spans audit, financial planning, resource allocation, reporting, compliance, treasury and risk management.  She has contributed to the development and implementation of organisational strategy, performance management, including establishing and restructuring of Finance functions, business process change, strengthening and overseeing the implementation of internal controls, process and policy development and review.

She is currently Director of Resources at the RAF Benevolent Fund.

David Ritchie is Chief Officer of the Representative Church Body (‘RCB’) and Secretary General of the Church of Ireland. The RCB is a charity and trustee body, providing governance, communications, payroll, pension, safeguarding, property, and fund management services for the Church of Ireland. David is a former Director of the financial services company De Lage Landen, part of the Rabobank Group, and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, holds an MBA from University College Dublin and is a qualified Civil Engineer. David worked for Concern in Cambodia and Rwanda, and has previously chaired the Concern Worldwide Finance Committee.

Dr. Hassan Roba is the Director of Kenya Strategy at the Christensen Fund overseeing grant-making to Indigenous peoples and ally organisations across the countries in East Africa.  Previously he served on the Board of Directors of the Kenya Institute of Public Policy Research and Analysis. He was also a member of the Task Force on Indigenous and Local Knowledge of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). He has over 15 years of experience in Research and Development and has widely published in his field. Hassan holds PhD in Development Studies and MSc in Dryland Biodiversity.

Willeke is Chair of Concern (UK)'s Fundraising and Resource Committee. She has been CEO of the Resource Alliance since March 2022.  Willeke is an experienced resource development manager in the nonprofit sector, with excellent strategic, international, financial, and people skills, Willeke previously led the Strategy and Analysis team at SOS Children’s Villages, the world’s largest charity focused on providing a loving home for children everywhere.

Willeke was formerly a consultant for FUNDES in Mexico, where she provided guidance on research as well as strategic recommendations on an innovative online capacity-building platform for micro and small enterprises in emerging markets. Prior to that, she spent 13 years at OXFAM as a global fundraising strategy advisor for affiliates around the world, including Mexico, India, South Africa, Brazil, Italy, Germany, and Belgium, where she provided strategic fundraising oversight; R&D of new fundraising markets and channels; and entry, set-up, and market development of new fundraising departments and personnel from idea to execution.

Dylan is an Agency Partner Manager at Microsoft UK, managing the relationship between Microsoft AI and some of the world's largest media agencies, with a focus on advertising, tech and data. Dylan previously worked at Google Ireland advising the digital marketing strategy for some of the UK and Ireland’s largest companies and non-profits. 

Dylan has been involved in several humanitarian missions, including the development of an IT school in IDP Camps in Iraq which he managed and taught in. Dylan has worked with many non-profits advising on their digital, fundraising and marketing strategy and is passionate about non-profits growing and thriving in our digital age by embracing the latest technology.

Paddy Sloan has a background in philanthropy and human rights, with a particular focus on children.  Qualified in psychology, human rights law and child development, she has worked in community development and urban regeneration with a community foundation, local and central government. As CEO of the NI Human Rights Commission she spent 8 years on the protection and promotion of rights in Ireland,  and with the international network of human rights institutions. On returning to grant giving with BBC Children in Need Paddy led the NI funds, the UK grants and policy work and a mental health programme targeting children aged 8-13. Paddy currently chairs the Legal Education Foundation.

Roisin McEvoy is the Deputy Chair of Concern Worldwide (UK).  She is a member of both the Audit and Finance and the Governance and Nominations Committees.   Roisin is an experienced higher educational professional, specialising in international and development education. She lectured at the UNESCO Centre, Ulster University, working on a range of UN, World Bank, UK Aid and Irish Aid funded global education projects collaborating with partners based in Lesotho, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Tanzania and Mozambique.  She was the University’s Director of International Development from 2009 to 2012.  Since 2012, Roisin has worked in professional services and change management roles to deliver on institutional strategy.  She is currently Operations Director in Students and Corporate Services at Queen’s University, Belfast. 

Throughout her career, Roisin has served on a wide range of international, education and third sector bodies in advisory, lobbying and leadership capacities.  Her roles have spanned teaching, project leadership, change management, and executive governance.
