Cathy Ferrier appointed as new chair of Concern Worldwide (UK), effective June 2025

International humanitarian organisation Concern Worldwide (UK) is pleased to announce the appointment of Cathy Ferrier as the new Chair of its Board of Trustees.
Cathy brings extensive leadership experience across the charity and commercial sectors. Since 2017, she has served as Non Executive Director at The Circle, a global organisation founded by Annie Lennox to promote equality for women and girls. She was previously Chief Executive of Sentebale, The Prince’s Foundation for Children in Africa, where she led significant growth in support for children affected by HIV. Cathy also served as Fundraising Director at Oxfam and has held senior roles in retail at companies including the Burton Group, Disney and Borders.
Cathy Ferrier commented on her appointment:

The global situation has rarely been so challenging and it makes the work Concern is doing even more vital.”
Cathy Ferrier will succeed Linda Horgan, who will step down as Interim Chair in June 2025.
